Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before purchasing or commissioning any artwork from maribloomfineart.com. By placing an order or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General Information
This website is operated by Mari Bloom, an independent fine art studio based in Tampa, Florida, USA. All original paintings sold through this website are created and owned by Mari Bloom. These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases of ready-made original paintings and custom commission orders placed through this website or via direct communication (email, WhatsApp, Instagram, or other channels).

2. Original Artwork — Ready to Purchase
Pricing
All prices listed on the website are in US Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of shipping costs. Prices are valid as of 2026 and are subject to change without prior notice. Shipping will be calculated individually based on your location and the size of the artwork, and will be invoiced separately after purchase.
Payment
Payment for ready-made original paintings is processed securely through Stripe or PayPal. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Once payment is confirmed, the artwork will be prepared for shipment.
Availability
All original paintings are one-of-a-kind. In the unlikely event that a painting has already been sold at the time of your order, you will be notified immediately and offered a full refund or the option to commission a similar work.

3. Custom Commission Orders
How It Works
  • Client submits a commission inquiry with details: subject, size, color preferences, and reference photos if applicable.
  • Artist reviews the request and provides a quote and estimated timeline.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price is required to begin work.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion, before shipment.
Deposit & Payment
The 50% deposit is non-refundable. It covers the artist's time, materials, and preparation. The balance payment is required before the finished artwork is shipped or delivered.
Timeline
Estimated completion times vary depending on the complexity and size of the commission. The artist will provide an estimated delivery date upon accepting the commission. Timelines may be extended in the event of unforeseen circumstances, and the artist will communicate any delays promptly. Please note that oil paintings require additional drying time before they can be safely shipped. Please allow up to 4–6 weeks for oil commissions after final approval.
Revisions
One round of minor revisions is included in the commission price. Revisions are accepted during the work-in-progress stage only. Once the final artwork is completed and approved by the client, no further changes can be made. Additional revision rounds may be subject to an additional fee.
Cancellation of Commission
If the client cancels the commission after work has begun, the 50% deposit is forfeited. If the artist is unable to complete the commission due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.

4. Shipping & Delivery
Mari Bloom ships original artwork worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated individually based on the destination, artwork size, and packaging requirements. A separate shipping invoice will be sent to the buyer after purchase or commission completion.
Packaging
All artwork is carefully packaged to ensure safe transit. Paintings are wrapped in protective materials and shipped in sturdy boxes appropriate for fine art.
Estimated Shipping Times
  • United States: 3–7 business days
  • International: 7–21 business days depending on destination and customs processing
Customs & Import Duties
International buyers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes imposed by their country. These charges are not included in the artwork price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Tracking
A tracking number will be provided once the artwork has been shipped. The artist is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processing.

5. Returns & Refunds
Ready-Made Original Paintings
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the artwork must be in its original, undamaged condition and returned in the original packaging. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued within 7 business days of receiving the returned artwork in satisfactory condition.
Custom Commission Orders
Custom commissioned artworks are non-refundable once completed and approved by the client. If the finished artwork does not match the agreed-upon description or specifications, the artist will work with the client to find a fair resolution.
Damaged Artwork
If your artwork arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately upon receipt and contact Mari Bloom within 48 hours. The artist will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or partial refund depending on the circumstances.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All artwork created by Mari Bloom is protected under United States copyright law and international copyright agreements. The purchase of an original painting transfers ownership of the physical artwork only. All reproduction rights, digital rights, and intellectual property rights remain exclusively with the artist.

  • The buyer may not reproduce, photograph for commercial use, print, or sell copies of the purchased artwork without written permission from the artist.
  • The artist retains the right to photograph and share images of all artwork — including commissioned pieces — for portfolio, promotional, and social media use, unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing prior to the start of the commission.
  • Artwork created in the style of other artists (e.g., Monet-inspired) is an original work by Mari Bloom and is clearly identified as inspired by, not a copy of, any existing work.

7. Privacy & Data
Personal information collected through this website — including name, email address, and mailing address — is used solely for the purpose of processing orders and communications. This information is never sold or shared with third parties. By making a purchase or submitting an inquiry, you consent to being contacted by the artist regarding your order. 8. Limitation of Liability
Mari Bloom Fine Art Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of artwork. The artist's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the artwork in question. Colors of artwork may appear slightly different on screen due to monitor settings and photographic lighting. The artist makes every effort to represent colors as accurately as possible.
